Walking through a large retail chain store the other day I happened to be in the aisle with the electric toothbrushes. I asked if she was seeing what I was seeing. She pretended to act like she didn’t care and said, “No”. I pointed out the silliness of putting merchandise on a locking hook that could easily be torn off. I also pointed out all of the other pegged items that did not appear to have anything to prevent shoplifting or deter thieves. My wife must have been thoroughly disgusted by this oversight because she left me behind as she went to the shoe department leaving me to ponder the gravity of the situation.
